This interface adapter makes it possible to play music in MP3 and WMA format from a USB stick or an SD/SDHC card in CD quality via your car radio. The interface adapter also has an AUX input / audio connection, so that all external sound sources (MP3 players, iPod, iPhone, iPad, PSP and mobile phones) can be connected via a 3.5 mm jack input.
This interface adapter behaves like a CD changer and is also recognized as such by your car radio. This maintains the full functionality of your car. The interface adapter is operated simply via the buttons on your steering wheel or via those on your car radio. CD and track numbers are shown on the display of your car radio.
The optional Bluetooth module ( YT-BTM ) makes it possible to make hands-free telephone calls and to stream music wirelessly from a mobile phone or other connected Bluetooth device.

This interface/adapter supports the following HONDA models/radios:- 2001-2005 Standard, Max 6 folders, max 54 files/folder
- 2006-2010 Premium Audio Models (Excluding XM or GPS NAV), Max 10 folders, max 99files/folder
- 2006-2010 Navigation and Airbag Models (USA version excluding XM), Max 6 folders, max 54files/folder
- 2009-2010 Factory XM and GPS NAV Equipped Models, Max 6 folders, max 54 files/folder.
Remark: (1). YT-MPC is optional for Factory XM and Navi
(2). On 2005 and earlier GL1800s pressing the A.SEL (RPT/RDM) button (or UM1on European Models) while playing an MP3 device as a CD Changer may cause a lock up of the audio system. This is a defect in the 2005 and earlier GoldWing radio software and the only recovery is to disconnect the battery or remove the fuse to reset the motorcycle audio system. This does not apply to 2006 and later models.
