Bluetooth streaming interface / audio adapter for VOLVO HU series car radio

With this Bluetooth module (interface / audio adapter) you can enjoy your favorite music that can be played wirelessly from a mobile phone or another Bluetooth device via your original VOLVO HU-series car radio with an 8-pin Mini Din CD changer port .

This interface behaves like a CD changer and is also recognized as such by your car radio. This maintains the full functionality of your audio system.

The necessary CD changer connection is located on the back of the radio.

Once connected, this Bluetooth module creates an additional source on your radio, namely the CD changer. The CD changer can be switched on using the SOURCE button and music playback starts from your smartphone.

The interface / adapter is operated via the buttons on your steering wheel or via those on your car radio (previous / next track).

Comments:

• If a Volvo RTI navigation system is connected to the CD changer connector, this VOLVO Y-cable must be used. Alternatively, you can use an 8-pin to 13-pin adapter cable to connect the interface to the 13-pin connection of the RTI module (see related tab).
